This cutting board is fantastic. The thick end-grain teak feels extremely solid and substantial, and at six pounds it stays firmly planted on the counter while I’m chopping. The wood grain and craftsmanship are beautiful, so it looks just as good used for serving charcuterie as it does for everyday food preparation.
The 16-by-11-inch size provides plenty of working space without taking over the entire counter. I also appreciate the deep juice groove and the hand grips, which make such a heavy board easier to carry. It performs as well as it looks and feels like something made to last. This is easily the best cutting board I’ve ever owned.

I’ve had many plastic cutting boards and was tired of cutting on plastic who knows what you are getting in your food using plastic. I switched to the following cutting board to avoid plastic . The End grain Teak Butcher Block made by CanaKasa appears to be a very functional and elegant edition to my kitchen. The cutting board I received is made of multiple tiny squares of end grain teak that really make this cutting board a beautiful piece for using as a Charcuterie Board at parties or gatherings with family. The size I have is 16 x 11 x 1.5”. It’s the perfect size for my table. I like to cut standing Rib Roast or Prime Rib. This board having the juice grooves that were made around the entire edge of the block makes it a convenient piece to present your premium cuts of meat without making a mess at your table. Be sure to condition the teak by using a food safe mineral oil on average every 3 to 4 weeks. I like to use Clark’s Cutting Board Oil it has orange & Lemon esential oils that really condition the woods grains and protects the board. It is nice because when you receive your board the company provides contact info and care information which I added in my photos. If you need a good Charcuterie board or Cutting Board give this a try.

Wow. What a beautiful board. Checkerboard design. I am impressed. The boxe it came in makes for a very nice presentation. Please take note that the board is a little heavy. It weighs around six pounds. Can't wait to use it.

I really like the size and weight of this cutting board. This arrived in packaging that was very secure, and the inner box is gift-worthy (assuming you wrap it, haha).
The end grain blocks are tight, and the handles are carved in deeply enough to allow a firm grip. It felt a little dry to the touch, so I oiled the board first, but it only took two thin coats of oil before it was ready to use. There's no warping, even post-oil/waxing and washing. End grain boards are my favorite because of how nicely they look for so long and because they're more self-healing than edge-grain.
All in all, a great bargain if you're in the market for a large, thick board with end grain construction!

Oh My Gosh!!!! Talk about a nice cutting board this is an exceptional cutting board. I have been reading how good teak cutting boards are and believe you me I found this one and it is an excellent one. It is gorgeous too. Has little hold handle indents on the side so picking it up and carrying it to table or counter is easy. It is an excellent price and if you are looking for quality as well as a good price you absolutely can not go wrong buying this one. Would make an awesome wedding gift or a Christmas gift.
