Warranty Commitment

CanaKasa provides a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for products purchased directly from CanaKasa’s official website or an authorized CanaKasa seller.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser or gift recipient in the United States, beginning on the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later.

 

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers manufacturing or material defects under normal household use and proper care, including:

  • Unusual structural or wood-joint failure.
  • Severe splitting, cracking, or warping determined to be caused by a manufacturing or material defect.
  • Products received with a manufacturing defect and reported promptly with appropriate evidence.

 

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, knife marks, cut marks, scratches, stains, food odors, or natural color changes over time.
  • Natural variation in teak grain, color, texture, or wood characteristics.
  • Damage caused by inadequate oiling or maintenance.
  • Damage caused by soaking, dishwashers, leaving the board in a sink, exposure to heat/open flame, prolonged direct sunlight, or excessively humid or dry environments.
  • Mold caused by humid storage or failure to dry the board properly.
  • Damage caused by accidents, drops, misuse, rough handling, unauthorized repair, alteration, or abuse.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, secondhand/resale products, or products without valid proof of purchase.
  • Commercial, restaurant, or industrial kitchen use unless approved by CanaKasa in writing.

 

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, customers should contact CanaKasa and provide:

  • Order number or proof of purchase.
  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue.
  • A short description of how the product has been used, cleaned, and stored.

CanaKasa typically reviews warranty claims within 5–10 business days after receiving all required information.

 

Warranty Resolution

If a warranty claim is approved, CanaKasa may, at its discretion:

  • Replace the product with the same item if available.
  • Replace it with a comparable item if the original item is no longer available.
  • Refund or provide another appropriate resolution where applicable and permitted by law.

In some cases, CanaKasa may request that the product be returned for inspection. If a return is required, CanaKasa will provide instructions before the customer sends the product back.
