Why does CanaKasa choose Teak wood for our cutting boards?

Teak is globally renowned as the "King of Hardwoods" due to its high natural oil content, which gives it exceptional resistance to moisture, warping, and bacteria. It provides a perfect balance—hard enough to withstand heavy chopping, yet gentle enough to protect your premium knives from dulling.

Are the colors and grain patterns of the boards identical?

No, and that is the beauty of nature! Because we use 100% natural authentic Teak wood, every single board features its own unique wood grain, mineral streaks, and rich golden-brown color gradients. Your CanaKasa board is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

How should I clean and maintain my CanaKasa Teak board?

Wash your board by hand with mild dish soap and warm water immediately after use, then wipe it dry. To keep it glowing and water-resistant, apply a layer of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax once every 3–4 weeks. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it submerged in water.

Can I use this board for both raw meat and ready-to-eat food?

To ensure top-tier kitchen hygiene, we highly recommend using separate boards (or designated sides of the board) for raw meats/seafood and ready-to-eat foods like cooked meats, cheese, or fruits.

Does CanaKasa offer a warranty on its cutting boards?

Yes! We provide a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, such as severe warping or splitting under normal, proper usage conditions (following our Care Guide).

Can I return the product if I change my mind?

We want you to love your kitchen companion. If you change your mind, you can return the unused product in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or refund.
